Chrissy's Story
My five year old
daughter Chrissy started riding with the STaRS
program at Southlands in February 07 with her
wonderful instructor, Sally. The changes we've
witnessed in our little girl (who has been severely
affected with cystic fibrosis since birth, and has
suffered a great deal with this dreadful disease)
since starting the program have been wonderful. The
highlight of Chrissy's week is coming to Pony
Meadows to ride her gentle and endlessly patient
pony friend, Kiwi. She just loves Kiwi, and learning
to ride has brought out a confidence, a joy, and an
enthusiasm in Chrissy that is just delightful to
see, and a welcome change and distraction from all
her medical care and ordeals.

teacher, Sally -- you're the best!

PS - I asked Chrissy

Kiwi's cute! And a fun thing that she does is
